Advances in treating Huntington's disease will come only through the complicated process of human testing in clinical studies and trials. There won't be new treatments without the participation of Huntington's families. We encourage you to learn about clinical trials and to participate if you are eligible and can travel to a clinical trial center.

In this section we will describe the types and phases of clinical trials so that you can be informed about this complicated process.

We will also maintain a listing--as complete as possible--for all clinical trials for Huntington's that are testing drugs. These trials will be divided into three categories; recently completed, presently enrolling, and planned. Within each of these categories each trial will be listed by the drug being studied.
