HORIZON Phase III trial of Dimebon

Sponsor: Medivation, Inc. in collaboration with Pfizer

Trial design: Randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled trial of 60 mg of Dimebon. There will be approximately 350 participants needed for the North American trial. Concurrent trials of Dimebon will occur in Europe and Australia.

Outcome measures: Primary outcome measure is the MMSE, or mini mental status exam which is a measure of cognition or thinking ability.
